RamCharan Teja to Play Suresh Raina Role in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' Film

The buzz around Neeraj Pandey’s Mahendra Singh Dhoni biopic is building slowly but steadily.

After signing Sushant Singh Rajput to play the lead and then revealing the first look yesterday, we hear that the filmmaker has zeroed in on Suresh Raina’s character. A little birdie tells us that none other than Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja has bagged the role of cricketer Suresh Raina.

Knowing the close friendship between Dhoni and Raina, all eyes were on  Baby director as to who would be cast in the pivotal role of Raina. And with rumours doing rounds that Ram Charan would be reprising the swashbuckling left hander onscreen, it would be a sort of second coming for Tollywood actor after his debut flick Zanjeer opposite Priyanka Chopra failed at the box office.

With so many cricketers playing important role in Dhoni’s career and 2011 world cup victory being one of the high points of his life , we wonder if the biopic will feature characters of greats like Sachin Tendulkar and  Yuvraj Singh. Can’t wait to find out who would play Master Blaster Sachin onscreen!
