Union Budget 2015 : Key Highlights Of Arun Jaitley's Union Budget

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Presented the Union Budget in Parliament On Saturday.

*  Wealth Tax abolition

*  2% additional surcharge on Super Rich with income of over Rs 1 crore

*  Corporate Tax reduced to 25%

*  100% tax exemption for Swachh Bharat

*  Service Tax increased to 14%

*  Allocation of Rs 70,000 crore for Infrastructure sector

*  5 ultra mega power projects of 4000 MW each

*  AIIMS in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar and Assam.

*  IIT in Karnataka and PG institute of Horticulture in Armtisar.

*  University of Disability Studies in Kerala

*  Centre of film production, animation and gaming in Arunachal Pradesh.

*  IIM for Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh

*  Rs. 2,46,726 crore allotted for Defence sector

*  50,000 toilets constructed under Swachh Bharath Abhiyan. Targets 6 crore Toilets.

*  Housing for all by 2020

*  80,000 Secondary Schools to be upgraded

*  Visa on Arrival for 150 countries
